Description

Coho or silver salmon is dark or metallic blue in colour on their backs and silver on their sides. The fish has a light coloured belly and is commonly found in the coast of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. This type of salmon is incredibly acrobatic and requires a variety of fishing gear fpr recreational fishermen to capture. The Coho salmon was so popular at one point that the species was introduced into all the great lakes and numerous reservoirs across the United States of America.
